Trying to catch up with all of you all, work, home life, one daughter in college, one daughter in high school, 5 grandkids to think about for Xmas and how they are running around in the house. The list goes on. Don't ask when i sleep. LOL.

So when I'm working over night I get to catch up with you all. I'll be at the Walk to Cure Diabetes event early in the morning to meet with the staff of the Austin's region JDRF. Talk to them about the Tudiabetes site. Wish me luck. Patti

Hey Asma,
Thanks for the friend add :)

I see you're a student, which year are you in?

Oh, Congratulations on the a1c result!! doesn't it feel great when all your hard work pays off in such a good way :) I know 7.7 doesn't look too good for you but hang in there friend and keep on doing your best and your next a1c would be great

Hope you're having a good day :)
Take Care.

Asma, I've been keeping my grandson's diet with no dairy, no peanuts, no chocolate, no out of the box biscuits or such, no beans only green beans he can have, no animal fat, and no sodas.

He eats mostly chicken, meatless weiners, turkey, some red meat, but mostly veggies and he loves ramen noodles. Lots of fruit.

And of course, he's meds to keep his kidneys functioning. If your not getting some good answers and attention from your doc maybe you should find another one.

I keep a close eye on his Kidney doctor but I also take him to other specialists.

Let me know specifically what it is you need and maybe I'll know about it.
Keep me informed, Patti
