When I leave town to take a small trip once and awhile my numbers change even though my diet is the same? Does this happen to you?
Metformin...what are your experiences ?

Ok, went for my checkup today and walked out of there with a 5.4 A1C so the doctor recommended Metformin. I want to lose about 15lbs or so and she said it ca help...soooo ? What do you think ? What are your experiences with Metformin..? Thanks to you all!
What is the best meter out there..?? I have had rotten luck with mine..

Ok, my first meter was the Accu Chek which was ok but really expensive...then I tried out the Wallgreens True Track, but my readings were inaccurate. I just recently got Contour Bayer which I like but still don't really know....what do you recommend?
Insurance for diabetes..??? Who do you recommend..what to do?

This has been a major problem for me, I pay $179 a month now for some kind of insurance that only covers a few med visits.. No med coverage, insulin, testing...etc. This one insurance agent told me you CANNOT get insured if you have diabetes. Does anyone have any ideas as what I can do, is there a provider you recommend? Thanks for any help!

I'm curious about this, I also hear you can lose a little weight with it as well? Any thoughts?
