hi, my name is aran and my two year old son was diagnosed six months ago. it has been so difficult for his mom and i. we have yet to meet other parents in this situation. i just got some bad news about an hour ago and am writing to someone i don't know for a reason i don't know. our daycare provider, who is totally awesome, just told us she just found out that she can no longer give injections and we both work and now we are totally screwed. i guess california daycare licensing laws prohibit providers from giving injections. nobody told us this in the hospital - a detail parents of infants should know. so what the hell do i do now?

Sorry but I got you confused with another member (don't think so well when their's crying around me) anyway like I said it will become a way of life for him. I took Type 1 at 10 and to tell you the truth I really don't remember any other way. This will be his way as soon as you get things to where you know about them. Atleast look at it this way you will know what a balanced diet is and feed it to your child.
