I'm curious to know if anyone else ever goes to check their BG and has blood come out of more than just the one spot you pricked? I'll try to draw blood from one side and my finger but it will end up…Continue

- Ava, join the Dr. Bernstein group on Tu Diabetes and read his book. I've been following Dr. B's advice for 1.5yrs and really, I cannot believe how much I depend on it. I buy few books and tend to just use the library loan system, but Dr. B's book, Diabetes Solutions, is something I will be re-reading and referring to for years. I am a recent Type 1, Latent Autoimmune of the Adult. Type 1s can have other autoimmune diseases that affect platelets. It's rare, but get them checked out. I have Hashimoto's, autoimmune thyroid disease, too.
