38? Whooooweeeee! I'd better spread that around!! Ha! I'm 55 years old. (Feel 95 sometimes!)

I am T2 (for now) but on a pump with a low c-peptide. So, I am probably really a converted T1. My last a1C was on the littler higher side at 7.9. Do you know what an a1C is? I would be glad to explain. Of course, looking on your info up, you ought to know if you had this since '61!! How dumb of me!!

Thanks for reading my page. I hope that I can impress on those who do read it that it is important to control this awful curse. I like to call is C.R.A.P. (Catastrophic Ruthless Attack on the Pancreas)!!

Well, I keep wanting to sop because my hands hurt. Now I will HAVE to rest for a while!

Greeting from a computer rookie, from TORONTO, where INSULIN was discovered by BANTING & BEST, and always interested in diabetics diagnosed before 1977, when I was diagnosed. Since then have been a ROLE MODEL to over 40.000 diabetics and always looking for ways of mentoring and seeking experiences to share. At 91, I feel like a kid with a new toy and it has made me seek ways to add YEARS to my LIFE, and LIFE to my years, and I am going to WEAR OUT, not RUST OUT, and as a student of the oldest university, UNIV OF HARD KNOCKS, where there is NO GRADUATION DAY, and you never finish your APPRENICSHIP. On JULY 30, INSULIN APPRECIATION DAY, will be showing my appreciation and asking insulin-users, worldwide, to join me, in silence, and give THANKS for INSULIN, giving hundreds of millions of US, a chance to live TODAY a healthy lifestyle. AMIGOS will be selling that day, BLUE ROSES, to raise support for www,restorethebantinghomestead.com This flower was chosen as our motto, because its meaning is"ATTAINING THE IMPOSSIBLE". Have you thought of setting up a support group in your profession? Our AMIGOKIT program consist of calling 5 DIABETICS, EVERYDAY, just to keep in touch, and have each one call 5 DIABETICS, it is good idea for supporting each other. clarence.haynes@sympatico.ca
