Seeking diabetic with complications who was helped by Lions Club

I'm a writer for Lion Magazine, the national magazine of the Lions Club. I'm writing a cover story on what the Lions do to help people with diabetes around the country - be it research at the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, proving free medication for those without health insurance, or doing screenings that detect people who have gone undiagnosed for years. My editor would like me to include the story of someone who has suffered from complications of the disease and have been helped by the Lions along the way.

Please contact David Wilson at davidmckaywilson@aol.com if you are interested in participating in the article.
