"Hi Fabian - got round to trying it, but seems it needs a Virtual USB port for G4 and VMWare with Win7 does not appear to support Virtual USB so I'm still knackered having to use a PC to download and transfer to Mac."

"See my other reply on your other post about this. What we know works is. Mac running Win 7 via bootcamp only :-) All others as far as I'm aware need two machines a Mac and a PC to download the readings."

"Thanks Jay, we discussed Diasend before and its not a universal solution and costly for those who don't have the right pump. As for Mac users - it looks like Bootcamp is the way to go using Win XP or 7 the virgin SW. Also the cheapest too not…"

"Im running with VMWare and Win 7 with same issues. Have heard that people who use Bootcamp have it working but not tried it myself. I have SW running perfectly its only the USB that does not work."

Welcome to the family!! On this forum you will learn so much. Most of what you will learn is that you are not alone. Everyone here is supportive and will provide answers to your questions. Search the site for answers. Read the discussions and blogs for information. There are videos to help you understand diabetes and its treatment. Most of all there is family to talk to and vent to, if needed.
