Sorry, lost the internet for almost a year.. but I am back. I have not had meds for all this length of time. I am now recently on meds. Actoplus met abd so far so good. Raw has helped alot.Though I find it hard to stick with. I think it is just me being a sabotage to my own efforts... To answer the question about where I am. I am at 635 and Skillman.

Thanks for the compliment about my scrapbooking. It's all digital, I don't paper scrap at all. I just print my digital image at costco and put it in a 12x12 scrapbook. It's awesome! You're right about having to really watch food labels. Since I started keeping a food journal as suggested in Blood Sugar 101, I am paying better attention to what I eat. I want to be part of the 5 Percent Club!
Thanks for your comment Becky. The oatmeal I have is called Quaker High Fiber Maple and Brown Sugar. It has a red heart on it which just says that oatmeal helps reduce cholesterol. I will have to buy the other one that is not sweetened or cook my own (which I don't like to do). Anyway, I'm sending a friend request and hope you will add me. Have a good day!
Doctors just don't have time to study up on this stuff. Those of us who have it, do. I've been active online for a decade now and hundreds of other people with diabetes of both types have taught me a great deal.
