My Pros and Cons about DEXCOM 7

Posted on February 2, 2012 at 7:05pm 6 Comments

Finally, I found a place where to express my opinion about the Dexcom 7. I call it little monster. Yes, it is a monster but monster can be good and not too good.

I got my Dexcom last year, about one year ago now and I still don't like it too much and I tell you why?

My Cons about DExcom

- The receiver is too big, bigger than my pump and cellphone.

- The receiver is very uncomfortable to carry on, it should be something like a watch in many colors.

Hi Bella, I hope you are having a good Birthday! I guess I use my dexcom more for trending than for the exact number. I know if I'm trending up with a double arrow that I need to what thing really close to be sure I don't go too high, likewise if I am trending down I know I need to watch things.I would agree with you that especially when BS is spiking up and down the actual number does become inaccurate. But if I limit the amount of spikes, it is fairly accurate. Happy B Day!!
