A vegan or vegetarian diet is not a good idea. Too many carbs for most diabetics. You would be better off trying the South Beach Diet phase 2. It would give you somewhere to start anyway.

- Hi Ben...I know how frustrating it all is right about now...but hang in there, things will start to kick in. Easier said than done, but try not to worry...and take it moment by moment, all the while celebrating the steps you're taking. If you trip along the way....that's ok, we've all been there. Don't dwell on it, but don't give up....just move on from there. It's not quite walking a tight rope...but nonetheless walking a less trodden path (not unlike being Christian).
