How to keep Tallygear screen from sticking.

I posted this in the CGM forum, but thought I would put it here as well...Not sure if any of you are having problems with the plastic screen protector sticking to the G4. If so, squeeze a baby powder bottle on the screen. You dont want actual baby powder on it, just a little air from the bottle. This will discharge the static and keep the protector from sticking to the screen. Same thing works with a lot of otterbox cell phone cases too.See More

Tips and Tricks with insulin and insurance in Oklahoma

I just recentely accepted a job in Oklahoma. I had BCBS of LA, and I am going to BCBS of OK. Anyone switched BcBS states before and had any issues? Also, in Louisiana we have this program that allows us to buy insulin for $15 dollars a month as long as we talk to a health coach once a quarter. Are there any programs similar to this in Oklahoma? Any other general tips when switching insurances? There shouldn't be any gaps and I will have two months of pods for some cushion room in case of paper…See More

Basal Rate Differentiation

I was just wanting to see other peoples different basal rates. Since I have started coming out of my honeymoon period, the differences of basal rates are becoming more profound. Overnight I've had to increase to .7 units per hour. Initially I just kept the rates the same, but I noticed a low every single day around 2. I never got the spike I anticipated after my lunch at 11:15, so I assumed the basal rate was needed to be decreased before lunch. Changed basal rate at 8:00 am-5 pm, decreasing it…See More
