"Hi Maureen, I get my pump supplies from Medtronic, but then I have a Paradigm pump. I thought you had to get them from your pump supplier, but you could search the internet. Just might find a cheaper price. Who knows? Good Luck!"

"You could disconnect the pump, put the plastic cap on & depending how long you will be there, test often and take shots for bolus's. Your suggestion for Lantus could work too. Have fun at the water park."

I've had diabetes for 47 years. Been wearing a pump for 3 & 1/2 yrs. Just about to receive the new Bayer contour next link meter. Heard it isn't back lit either. Bummers! I would enjoy sharing with other pump users.

Welcome to the family!! On this forum you will learn so much. Most of what you will learn is that you are not alone. Everyone here is supportive and will provide answers to your questions. Search the site for answers. Read the discussions and blogs for information. There are videos to help you understand diabetes and its treatment. Most of all there is family to talk to and vent to, if needed.
