"I would imagine the transmitter will last well beyond the 6 months, they probably will not make an entire year though. I would not sweat it."

"Yep, the approval was for both, but no transmitter replacement, just the original one. Hope it's different in your case."

"I order through Dexcom, and they told me that they get insurance approval for the system and also for the 6 month replacement transmitter at the same time. We'll see if it works that way when I am due for a new one in a few months..."
