Biedronk replied to Linny's discussion 'Omnipod batteries' in the group OmniPod Users
"50 percent on the screen does not mean 50 %. I noted that going very low, just a line, and it can last a good 2 weeks. Omnipod does not have a precise indicator like tandem etc. Just wait and see. Always have spare batteries with you, just in case.…"

Biedronk replied to MarlboroNick's discussion 'loss of insurance' in the group OmniPod Users
"So far I was not able to get UHC to cover Omnipod. The argument is bad, as Omnipod is NOT more expensive. There is way less upfront cost, but the monthly cost is higher. Overall the cost is the same. I think that you should point in your appeal need…"

Biedronk replied to ANTONIA RETMAN's discussion 'break time?' in the group OmniPod Users
"Check your total daily basal on the pump - typically with the pen you will need 20-30 % more. Consider just doing exactly the same amount, and go up gradually every 2-3 days until you get good fasting with no overnight lows. Good luck"
