Insulin and The Summer Heat
I have been experiencing some unusual highs these past few days. I woke up with a 12 this morning! Usually in the 5's! I'm on a low carb regiment. This year I moved to a somewhat tropical place, we are currently experiencing temperatures in the high 30's (98). I try to stay in doors most of the time, however, could my going outside with my pump be affecting the efficacy of my insulin (Novorapid)? The Minimed software that monitors the changes in voltage is using the data from a Energizer battery, so if you use another battery,…"
