I like this site because of all the support you will get...and to connect with other people that are living with this D....you can relate and others can relate to you. Help each other and become really good friends. Very kind and supportive people.
I have learned so much and have made some great friends.
UMMM Playlist, LOL well I had to have my nephew put it on my page! Yes, I did not know how to do it. I think that if you post it as a question somebody will offer to help you. Wish I could.
Take care
Robyn
I came here when my A1c was too high to consider pregnancy and I needed support to bring it down and to find other type 1s my age. I've always lived alone with type 1. I now have many friends across the globe (some of whom I have met in person now), I am 6 months pregnant, and my A1c is 5.6. So I would say it has done wonders for me. Support, tips on eating/exercising/dosing, tips on dealing with insurers, reviews of insulin pumps and cgms devices, etc. It's just a great all-around resource and community.
I volunteer many hours a day on the administrative team that is charged with keeping the community free of dispute, marketing, and inappropriate content.
