Hey "neighbour"! How's it all going? How's your husband doing?
I have a cousin out west whose husband is going through very similar problems.

Hi Billy Sue- Thanks for the message. Your husband is probably dealing with the loss of his old life. Being Dx'ed with Diabetes is a stresser that many people have. His whole life has changed - he should test his blood sugar, watch closely what he eats, try to get some exercise each day. These are all new things he must now do to stay healthy and they will never go away, and he cannot take a day off from doing them. At this point, he may not even know that this lifestyle change is what's bothering him. You can get support from the members of TuD, that's what this site is for, as well as learning whatever you need to know for helping him to stay healthy. Stop by any time you have questions.
