Sprouting beans also takes away the enzyme inhibitors so that they are digestible, if you don't want to cook them. And I agree, raw hummus is great! I made some recently with sprouted garbonzos and sprouted sunflower seeds because a lot of recipes...

Rethink that salad dressing....

I really need to clean up but at the same time I really need to get this off my chest and hope someone can benefit from this, so Im going to try to keep this short...

Salad dressing has a bunch of bull@@%$ in it that we don't need. It can say no fat, less fat than "xyz", low calorie advertised on the front label, and when you check the numbers on the nutritional label it all pans out, BUT what it may be more beneficial to focus on is the ingredients! Update on my situation, Type 2

So lately Ive been doing not only raw but raw +chlorophyll rich veggies- aka green. I used to make smoothies by adding veggies plus fruit but starting on June 1, Ive been doing NO fruit- only my veggies.

I cant remember if I blogged here or on another site about me knowing I was Type 2 since 2000 and not taking my medicine and basically ignored it. I did start to take Metformin in Feb/March of 09 but I stopped and was supposed to get my insulin prescription filled but never did. So I currently… Continue

Type 2s have you seen this film?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZe-igIE4dI&feature=related

Truly inspirational.

Watch it free online here:

Also. I don't know how many of you have heard of this but they say cinnamon will help with blood sugar and I've taken it with fruit and 2 hrs later my sugar had stayed at the 120s range.

HI EVERYONE!

I am so glad I stumbled across this site....didn't know it existed. I am also a "give it to me raw" member (same name as here). I am trying to go raw and currently juice raw to get RID of diabetes. Right now I'm pissed because I cant juice carrots, cant have bandannas etc. I'm trying to reverse my diabetes asap...now that Ive actually come to care, in the past I just shrugged my shoulders about having it, shame on me I know but fear can make you do some stupid things!

I have a prescription for… Continue
