Bob Bolton commented on Manny Hernandez's group 'Animas Insulin Pump Users'
"When I received my Ping (September '09) I had to call to get the IR receiver for the pump. At that time, CS told me many folks weren't using the software, so the dongle was sent by request only, It was free."

Bob Bolton replied to Keith's discussion 'Combo Bolus' in the group Animas Insulin Pump Users
"Keith, On the Ping, you can go to to adjust the maximum bolus limit. Just as an observation, you folks seem to be dealing with awfully large carb loads. The recommendations I've received are to try to stay somewhere near a 75 carb max for each…"

Bob Bolton replied to Keith's discussion 'Timing out on the pump when downloading to EZ Manager' in the group Animas Insulin Pump Users

FarmGirl replied to Bob Bolton's discussion 'Ping meter remote accuracy?' in the group Animas Insulin Pump Users
"LaLa-I am astounded at this suggestion and I agree with you-for me I drop really low quickly and if the meter is off imagine what I am doing to myself. I have dropped regularly into the 50's which for me is severe shock. I put a lot of trust in…"

LaLa replied to Bob Bolton's discussion 'Ping meter remote accuracy?' in the group Animas Insulin Pump Users
"I've also noticed variations on the meter itself. Last night, I checked my BG and the meter read 176. Just for kicks, I checked it again using the same finger of the opposite hand, and the result was 199. To me, that's a big difference.…"

Bob Bolton replied to Carrie J's discussion 'Batteries, tape, IV Prep, oh my!' in the group Pumping Our Insulin

Bob Bolton commented on Manny Hernandez's group 'Animas Insulin Pump Users'

Bob Bolton commented on Manny Hernandez's group 'Animas Insulin Pump Users'

Bob Bolton replied to Spenser Beasley's discussion 'Tubeless??' in the group Animas Insulin Pump Users

Allen replied to Bob Bolton's discussion 'Ping meter remote accuracy?' in the group Animas Insulin Pump Users

Theodore Quick replied to Bob Bolton's discussion 'Ping meter remote accuracy?' in the group Animas Insulin Pump Users

So, what colour is your PING? We are finally getting them here in Canada (about time) - in the Fall time. I was going to upgrade from my Animas 2020 - but the $900CDN charge doesn't justify the remote - tho' I really like that part of the PING - not having to unclip my pump all the time. So, I'll just wait it out until my pump kicks the bucket - hopefully in a very VERY long time . Stay healthy Bob and out of trouble!
