Helo everyone,
This is one of my first blogs! (: I am currently getting ready to go on a mission trip to Mexico in about a week and I am having some concerns about food in terms of carb count and a packing list. Being a girl-packing is hard. Being a femail diabetic-even harder. hahah. SO I was wondering if anyone had any packing lists for type 1 diabetic any stories about thier mission trip or experience with real mexican food.

I'm torn between which Insulin Pump to choose.
What is your opinion on them? Which one is better?
Both are basically the same other than one has the continuous glucose monitor and the other has the wireless meter and water proof pump.

I changed pumps because I animas doesn't have the cgm (constant glucose monitor) yet and I am majorly active and was constantly going low in the night and running high during the day. All of my friends have minimed and loooooooooVe it! Animas is good but I like my minimed a lot more =) Minimed is the one I would recommend to you =) Good luck on the pump thing!!! It is the best thing in the world. I hate giving myself shots.
