"@Brandon...I think the 722 is a great pump for anyone pumping a tremendous amount of insulin per day. I myself pump over 150 units and change my infusion set every 2 days. If you don't pump anywhere near that perhaps a 522 is for you...it holds…"

"It is recommended that you have at least an infusion set and reservoir with you in case you realize that you have a bad set. You also need to carry around your insulin as well in order to fill your reservoir."

"i was told that i would probaly not be eligible for the cgm because my sugars are not bad enough and i dont think i can afford it with not help with insurance"

Hey brandon, i seen that your trying to decide on a good pump. coming from my words animas would be best i think personally! i had minimed and i was out of wack i gained weight and high a1c when i switched to animas i lost alot of weight and my a1c are in the 7 ranges im so happy! but i was giving you my edvice! hope you make a right choice for you and your health!

Insulin Pumps

I am ready to go on an insulin pump but do not know which one to get. i am thinking about the omipod but it seems like there is alot of pod problems and i think it would be a hassle if you are away from home and dont have an extra pod. im also looking at the one touch ping but i have not heard much about this pump from people but i would like to know is a insulin pump with a tube a big hassle or do you get use to it and dont even relize thats my only fear of the tube being a big hassle all the… Continue

Low Blood sugar?

I think i had my first low since i have been diagnosed. i woke up and i went downstairs check my sugar and it was 87 and then like immediately after i check it i felt like really dazed and like i couldn't stand up for much longer so i hurried up and drank a glass of milk then i sat down and with in like 5 mins i was starting to get less dazed. then after like 20 mins i was back to normal...... the whole reason im posting this is to see if anybody else meter has giving a false result...and if my… Continue
