- I hope to meet online more T1 parents. When it comes to Diabetes I feel we are ALL one big family! I want to learn more about this disease and I will also like to help others from what I have already learned. - I became a step mom 3 years ago to a precious Little T1 Diabetic, Her Name Is Amanda. Before Amanda and Shawn (Amanda's dad) came into my life I thought I knew the basics about diabetes.. BOY WAS I WRONG! I have learned so much over the past three years and now I'm Amanda's full~time caregiver.. I Just Adore Her With All My Heart.. Although She Is Not Biologically Mine I Love Her As Though She Was My Own! She Is Truly My Hero! ~Brenda~

Search the site for answers. Read the discussions and blogs for information. There are videos to help you understand diabetes and its treatment. Most of all there is family to talk to and even to vent to, if needed. Welcome home.
