Welcome Bridget, I like to give warm welcomes since I got lots of them when I joined. And I have to tell you that you're better than me because I'm terrified of people dressed up in those character costumes...I totally freak out when they come around me. Don't ask me where that comes from :)

Hi Bridget
Welcome to the tudiabetes.com family.

Here are a few tips; on how to make the most of the site. I invite you check out the different groups; we have: there's an excellent chance you will find more than a few that you can identify with.

If you find the community useful, please:
-Link to us on your blog/site (if you have one).
-Invite; family, friends, colleagues and anyone whom you feel may benefit from it.
-Consider making a donation by clicking on the "Donate" button on the right side of the page, to support the work we do.

Also, if you know of any local newspapers, TV or radio stations that you feel could be interested in writing about our community, please let them know about our recent Press Release, announcing the community: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2007/8/prweb546849.htm;

Last, if you run into Spanish-only speaking folks, please let them know about EsTuDiabetes.com;, our sister Spanish-speaking community.

We look forward to hearing from you and sharing your experiences with us.

take care and stay in control.
