Bye bye France Ambassy of TuDiabetes

Posted on December 7, 2011 at 1:04am 9 Comments

So there was a French ambassador with a page about France. this ambassador was I, Brigitte, French type 1 who is living in France.

And now there is no more this page. I couldn't get the time to say bye bye to all the members of this page-group and that's make me very sad. So forget that story, sometimes there are unhappy ends in the stories... But I want to tell you that I'm always here in the community and if I can help you about France or anything else I will be there.

Just some…

Hi Brigitte, I'm sorry you are not feeling too good. You will soon have the 50 year medal! Do you have any complications? Don't you want to try a pump? I eat pretty much low carb and that what makes a difference in my BS. But I am frequently off too. Last week, my grandchildren were here and I made "regular" meals but somehow was always high! Grr.... I guess I need to work on my insulin/ carb ratio. Do you count your carbs? I loved that book THINK LIKE A PANCREAS and you can order it by amazon. It helped me loads in adjusting my doses and understanding diabetes more. It is a never ending job! You speak good English, have you ever visited the States or England?
Yes, I like dogs and all animals. I love living in the country and am lucky to have a big house that is always open for friends and family. The dogs in the picture are on the left MY DOG and on the right her "cousins" my son's dogs. I also have a fat cat and I used to have a sheep for more than 20 Years.
Do you work? What do you like to do in your free time? Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Brigitte, How are you? I'm fine and actually so much better thanks to TuDiabetes than I was 2 years ago. I got lots of advice and books to read and now my A1c is down to 6,6. And I feel great! How about you? I think I might try the Freestyle Libre. Maybe not use it all the time because it has to be paid out of your pocket but sometimes. For the moment they are out of stock so I'm on the waiting list.

Tu as des jolies photos sur ton page! Tu aimes faire les randonees?

Racontes moi un peu. Mari
