I was dx'd with type 1 just after my 15th birthday in 9th grade. Almost 9 years ago. Up till last year I was still seeing the same pediatric endo I had always been seeing because she was AMAZING. so today was the first day of school. I am teaching pre-K this year. So far so good got a few kids that are going to be a handful! But I am looking forward to it! yay!

I still have 2 weeks before I start school myself. I can't wait to be done with college.

I have really bad acid reflux. I had surgery to correct it when I was 17. That was 6 years ago. The surgery typically only lasts about 5 years before patients are back on reflux meds or have to have the surgery again. Over the past year I have been having reflux again, and over the past 3 months it has been bad.

sick days SUCK. I have been battling a flu type bug since Friday. Today was the first day, around 10pm tonight, that I finally had a sugar reading under 200. I HATE SICK DAYS.
