Grrr... Strips for Medtronic Paired Glucose Meter no Longer covered by my insurance

I use the Bayer Contour Next link glucometer that was provided with my new Medtronic 530g pump in late 2013.My insurance company is Medical Mutual, who supplies through Edgepark. The prior written authorization I got in December 2013 ran out at the end of June 2014. I had enough strips through July 2014. On August 1, I called into my endo's office to request that they send in another a prior written auth. as they had done before, with success. After multiple attempts and phone calls, the PA at…See More

Hi Brunetta, just stopping by to say thanks for being here, you're such a special friend to us. I wish I could say it better.

I saw you were asking about walnut oil. I LOVE this stuff! heavenly in salad dressings. I also use it in a bread I make that has chopped walnuts in it. here's the oneI can get at our local shop-rite. be sure to keep it in the fridge, it goes rancid faster than other oils.

My new shoes were in 2 weeks ago but are now being matched and prepared for the steel brace on the right shoe. They seem soooooo big that I could probably hired out to rural fire departments to stop out forest fires!
