For the first…

Yesterday afternoon, I received my new Dexcom Seven+ system. Yay! Within minutes of training, I was hooked up and all ready to go. I left my other CGM on just for comparison purposes.

Bradford replied to Lilliana's BumPancreas's discussion 'Higher basal rates?' in the group OmniPod Users

Higher basal rates?

Have any of you who switched from a standard "tubed" pump had a problem with having to increase your basal rates a lot with the OmniPod? I used to have OK basal rates, but now I'm having to up them every few days.See More

Welcome to the family!! On this forum you will learn so much. Most of what you will learn is that you are not alone. Everyone here is supportive and will provide answers to your questions. Search the site for answers. Read the discussions and blogs for information. There are videos to help you understand diabetes and its treatment. Most of all there is family to talk to and vent to, if needed.
