Good News! I have a new job and I get to stay in sales! Today I completed the second day of training with about 3 or 4 left, I'm excited and looking forward to going on the floor and making some decent money and helping people. The new schedule is easy to adjust to, no more 12 hour days, morning shifts, then switching to evening shifts. its all 10 to 7 monday thru thursday and 9 to 6 on friday, with weekends off. This is good because I dont need to do my injections outside of the home.

I am constantly learning how much my diabetes affects not just only me but those around me. My wife (we married 1-21-07) has taken the change from me taking just pills to taking insulen injections with apparent ease. What she struggles with is small things like my skin being very sensitive to touch and sometimes it hurts just to have her arm resting on my belly. I had an infection which made sex impossible for about a month, this was very tough for her to handle. My parents and friends are used… Continue

this is my 1st blog entry, i hope this can be a positive and encouraging experience for you readers, if not then at least i hope it is educational. I was under the impression that I was managing my diabetes well but I landed myself in the ICU with Ketoacidosis for a long weekend. Oddly, I felt great going in and now I feel terrible, and have felt poorly since being released.
