Sorry it took me so long to reply. My most recent A1C was 6.0, it thought it was awesome. I has been higher. I really don't do anything to lower it besides take my metformin everyday...lol :) Take care.

hi, Carl, I was just reading your blog, and I have a few suggestions. I'm type 1 but it's the same thing, we have to keep motivated to test, exercise, eat right, and stay positive. I don't think you can tackle everything at once, but if you start with a few baby steps, I think when you begin to see some improvements, you can keep it up. Keep in touch here, I find TuD to be a real help for me to do what I have to do.

Hi Carl,
I am sorry I missed you when you first joined us. Welcome to our family. It is great to have you with us. I remember well what it is like being new to this diagnosis. But on here we are all together, no matter what type we are or where we live. And we all help each other. So whatever you need or just want to say, please jump into any post or start one of your own. We will all contribute.
How have you been feeling? Are the blood sugars going okay for you? Mine have been bouncing around a bit lately. Maybe I am enjoying this beautiful fall weather a bit too much. Has the weather started changing yet where you live? I have always wanted to see Nerw York in the fall and especially in the winter. I am a winter person and sometime I might start peppering you with questions about snow and winter in New York.
I hope all is going well for you and will look forward to talking to you whenever you feel like it.
