Sorry Carol...mistook the ID abbreviation of Idaho for Indiana!!
Have 2 grandsons over today...brothers. One 5 the other 2 1/2.
They'll be spending the night as well. At the moment they're watching a movie and playing with blocks in the family room.
I, am trying to recuperate from doing the school concert yesterday. I don't know how some teachers manage doing that in heels!! I was on my feet for over 4 hours...and forever up and down a huge flight of stairs!!

Hi there Carol....sorry for being late in responding to your request. It has been the EPITOME of insanely busy here.
School...just NUTS before Christmas Break!
Thank you for having me as a friend
Indiana, a distance away...and yet, you're right here! (I'm in Canada, south western Ontario). That's one of the joys of TuDiabetes...there are NO distances!!
I'm a wife of 33 years (hubby is also diabetic), mom to two grown children, grandmom to 3 little boys...and a fourth grandchild on the way! I'm a teacher, before that an illustrator (still do some) and graphic designer.
Tell me a bit about yourself!
Please keep in touch, ok?
hugs...linda

I see you're on the same page as I (gotta love puns!)
I'm a lover of pink (well...of turquoise and also red), and though I'm not the frilly delicate type...I do like the look of lace....SO, this page design was IT for me!!
Wish it were Saturday already...I'm totally wiped, and tomorrow is our school's Christmas Concert! Full dress rehearsal tomorrow during the morning...all classes, and in the evening again will have to be at the theatre at 5:30....will not be home til 10 pm!! Groan!!

Welcome to the family! On this forum you will learn so much. Most of all you will learn that you are not alone. Everyone here is supportive and will provide answers to your questions. Search the site for answers. Read the discussions and blogs for information. There are videos to help you understand diabetes and its treatment. Most of all there is family to talk to and even to vent to, if needed. Welcome home.

Welcome home Carol!!
This is a great place to share, to learn, and to grow...all the while meeting new people world wide, and making friends.
Take a peek at some the groups when you get a chance. Just go to the top of your page, and click on "Groups". Once in,

Take in some of the blogs/discussions as well.
The resource boxes at the top of the home "Home" page, and
"About us" at the very bottom of your page and every page (the footer), offer you more information still.
