Damn Insurance Companies.......

Stating to get really emotional about trying, and trying to get health insurance for the past 15 years. Only to be denied every single time. I feel like nobody cares, and the people who need this insurance the most and they're lives depend on it, cannot get it! It hurts and boggles my mind that the insurance companies deny anyone with a pre-existing condition. Sorry I am on a soapbox about this, but I am sooooo angry. I have tried to be in the Missouri health pool, and it is something like $800… Continue

Type 1 diabetic pregnancies

Hi all!
Wondering if it is possible to carry a baby to term with having type 1 diabetes for 24 years. Been thinking and wondering if I am going to have children, and met a man I would seriously consider it with (love him!) Wondering if any ladies on this site had difficult pregnancies, horror stories and such. Just wondering. I would love to hear about them! Thanks!

I pay out of pocket to see doctors and my supplies. I was wondering if anyone could tell me a good insurance company that may cover me. I have been super curious to try the pump. I am on two injections a day. I am so glad to have found this site! Everyone i so caring, warm, and welcoming! Thanks for letting me sha… Continue

Hi Carrie!... You and I were dx'd within months of each other (I was 12 now I am 36)...How cool is that? Always nice to meet another "lifer". I think the 80's were the coolest decade for a diabetic to dx'd. Love your tattoos... I have a few myself (check out my page when you have a second)

Cheers!
