Chango replied to sam's discussion 'What's your pump of choice?'
"Sam, I do not think that tubeless pumps are the way to go, consider gluing a computer mouse to your infusion site and if that would really be more convenient. The other disadvantage is the inability to see the site. I am currently using my third…"

"I use Solara also and I am happy with them. I am really happy with the sets by far the most comfortable insertion I have ever had with a set. They could use some work on the design of their adhesive tape removal prior to insertion, the luer…"

Chango replied to NatalieHodge's discussion 'WHO HAS A G4??' in the group Dexcom Users
"The G4 seems to fall a little short. The transmitter life is shorter, the transmitter is taller (more likely to get bumper and or dislodged). A trade in program is non existent. $500 dollars for a receiver that should be your smart phone at least as…"

Infusion Sets

We have or are seeing a lot of new players in the pump market but what about the common link? The infusion set. I for one do not think patch poumps are too atractive as I feel it woud be like gluing a Microsoft mouse to me. I think the area that needs some thought is the infusion set. Here is some food for thought. Silicone lubrication on the set does make it easier to be inserted but it also may have an effect on the ability for the site to absorb insulin. The medical device industry has known…See More
