I have had diabetes for over 10 years now and as we all know it's pretty tough going. It has it's ups and it's down, but in general I manage. Keep the calm happy exterior us diabetics often have and lead positive lives anyway. The show must go on !!!!

But lately the show has been more like The Producers than Cats. I've been slow, I've been sluggish, but hey it must be the diabetes. I've been tired, I've been losing weight ,but hey diabetes has its complications. I've been chronically…

After My children moved out of the nest I was ready for some time off. But on the day I was diagnosed I had a young bride and two little baby's, there was no way for me to have good BG control, it was all about work and the kids, soccer games, baseball, taking my daughter to swim practices for 4 years at 5am 6 days a week even in the summer. My son started playing ball at 6 and still plays on a city league team today he is 31 now...It was all worth it.

"life just equals less than perfect BG" and I have survived it without any serious complications up to this point but I have also never just ignored my BG.
