JohnG said… After My children moved out of the nest I was ready for some time off. But on the day I was diagnosed I had a young bride and two little baby's, there was no way for me to have good BG control, it was all about work and the kids, soccer games, baseball, taking my daughter to swim practices for 4 years at 5am 6 days a week even in the summer. My son started playing ball at 6 and still plays on a city league team today he is 31 now...It was all worth it.
"life just equals less than perfect BG" and I have survived it without any serious complications up to this point but I have also never just ignored my BG.
