Hey Charlene....I come from a long line of type 1 and type 2 on both sides. So though it's no surprise that it "got" me....I was still rather oblivious to diabetes 'till I started getting sick. I'm chalked in as a type 2, though I don't fit the pattern. So currently I'm on meds. Dx in 2006, but I know for certain that things were amiss way before that. I teach French in a Montessori school to grades 1/2/4 and a component of English to grades 4 and 5. How's your daughter doing? How is her diabetes handled in school....do you have the school's full support? Take care...linda in canada.
