I have received our first shipment of new pods and we had no problems. I was calling to inform them of a pod that had come off the backpaper for no apparent reason and the rep was near hostile. Telling me that they would replace it this time but w...

In the 4 years I've been on the OmniPod all of my interactions with them have been excellent. If I were to compare them to my 10 years on MM, I would give MM a 4 and Insulet a 9 out of 10

Whoa! Just want to pass on my experience with Billing............I returned their call, not knowing what the call was about. The rep was so polite, professional, cheerful sounding, perfect Customer Service persona. I though, "Man! I love my Pod." ...

Hi Erika, I just found this thread, and I have what sounds like the EXACT same issue. I started on the pod last October, and I was great for a long while. Sometime in the Spring, the itching and horrible rashes started. It has continued ever sinc...

Skin-prep creates a barrier to help prevent skin irritation and helps to better adhesive too. Skin-tac is a skin adhesive just like mastisol. Try the skin-prep it has worked for me.

Thanks very much, ya'll! I have avoided the Skin Prep and Skin Tac because I thought they were primarily used when someone had trouble keeping the pod on/keeping the adhesive "stuck" to the skin. It makes sense that it would also provide a barrier...

You could try Tegaderm...it's a thin transparent film that you could lay down on your skin prior to addplying the pod over that.

Thanks again Leah. Although I have been diabetic for 14 years, I don't know anyone else that has it. It would be really nice to meet up with ya'll!

Have a great weekend. Looks like it's going to be a scortcher!

Great! I will get you the info of where and when. The group was formed by my DBE, he is also a type 1. We meet once a month, but we also try and socialize more outside of the group as well.

We've been around for over 5yrs now and we are slowly growing. I personally have really enjoyed it because I didn't know any other diabetics until the group came along.

Thanks bunches. Good luck with your search. The tubing (or lack of ) was one of the main reasons I went with thye POD. I do a lot of bicycling, and after seeing what Team Type One was doing, it kind of sealed the deal. I'll let you know how things work out.
