A little about me . . .

Twelve years ago when I was pregnant with my youngest son I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I was told it would pass when my pregnancy was over . . . it chose to stay with me. I didn't know until several year later though. I wasn't doing too well when we finally figured out the diabetes had stuck with me, I'm still waiting for the day I can say I'm "doing well". Some days are better than others. I never did like roller coasters :o)

I married my high school sweetheart and believe it or not he's still my sweetheart . . . most days that is. I am a writer and I volunteer with an online autism support community.

I've been blessed to be a stay at home mom to four of the most amazing trolls . . . I mean, children you could ever hope to meet.

My oldest, a son, is a twenty year old autistic wonder who never ceases to bless and amaze me. He is my hero.

Next, another son, is seventeen years old and lives his life on a roller coaster of his own called bi-polar. He is on the autistic spectrum as well. He is a sweet soul who faces many challenges with surprising grace.

My daughter, recently seventeen as well is a gifted artist. She lives the random life of a butterfly with adhd, she is my rock and my friend.

My littlest man is twelve. He's a dysgraphic genious who also navigates life through the ups and downs of adhd, he holds my heart in his hands.

Life is never dull, rarely quiet, sometimes frustrating but always, always filled with the wonderful blessings of God.

Welcome. You definately have your hands full with a house full of kids. I have 3 sons of my own and one foster son. The 2 oldest are 31 & 28 and are married. The other 2 are 21 & 22 and are college students. They were home this weekend = ) Wow thats always a crazy time. Wash to the ceiling and food bills beyond belief and friends stooping by constantly. I also married my HS sweetheart. And that was 36 yrs ago last month. I wish you lots of happy times.
