but to think how many children that would be looking for a first pump... Maybe I'm just biased because I'm not 18 yet :) I am a potential customer though, but I am sure in a year and a half, there will be something better than the solo.

Normally the age is 12 even for DRUGS. You would think that anyone who has used a pump a day in their life would be able to use almost any pump.

Is he younger? I am 16 and pretty muscular, but I still find places on my arms to put it, and have never had a problem. You also don't want to put it close to the elbow, which I have done, because there is no fat there, and it is right on the muscle.

I also had one come off my arm while sleeping, but I blame it on the adhesive ripping. I have lost many pods wake boarding, skim boarding, bodysurfing, and tubing... I've learned to go to shots while doing any one of those activities :)

I am pretty sure that it would not be waterproof though, because they don't say anything about it, and with a more complicated device than the pod itself, it would almost seem impossible! They also don't market that HUGE looking remote as being a ...

I have had diabetes for one year today

I was diagnosed on Jan. 28 2008, and it is the 28 of 2009. It has been the longest year, but I have grown up so much. I am glad that I have been diagnosed because I look at life a different way that I never have before, but it really has made me a better, healthier person. I enjoyed the hospital stay a lot, probably because it was like my life was saved, as you know, the symptoms feel like you are dying. I still like to replay it in my head, because that was a life changing moment...
