we got 31 inches in my neighborhood. it was great; lots of shoveling followed by a good craft brew. gotta replace those carbs, right?
and ... g-town was good. i had a feeling they'd win. nice the game was played. the wizards game on sunday has been cancelled; first NBA cancelation since 2006. fitting. the wizards are so bad i'm thinking god spoke to spare us all.

Thanks Dude... I've recently undertook a drastic change in my health habits because my A1c were doing pretty bad. And thought this looks like a good place to start to try and find people and talk with others that are going through the same thing i am

Danny! So Awesome you found that video, you must have been like ... OH THERE'S BILL! LOL

Well I am so happy to have helped, the insertion can be a bit tricky. I had trouble inserting mine yesterday. The 2 things Ihave trouble with sometimes are Getting the inerter to Pop off correctly and twisting off the plastic piece that puts the sensor in place.

Hope things are going well. Take Care.

Hey Danny: :)

Why? Is this a Special week-end?? LOL!

We've been looking for new tiles for our kitchen floor most of the week-end. Whippee!! My Hubby pulled a fast one today. I was asleep, sore and tired and didn't feel like moving. He (hates shopping except for tools) had gone looking for tiles on his own and found one he thought I'd accept.

I was asleep when I said, " Ya, that's Nice Sweety". So of course, he ran out and bought the 180 tiles before I woke up. So now I'm stuck with tiles I'm not that thrilled about for the next 8 years. :P Danny, I may be grumpy once in awhile for the next 8 years. :D

Hey, my Hockey Team won their 9th game in a row today. Woo-who!! I believe that is an NHL first. :D

So Lad, what have you been up to lately?? Most likely something interesting and innovative, knowing you. I hope that your weather is warmer than ours. 8>{

Hi Danny,

We all have to thank you for starting the thread.

Welcome to Club Dexcom. I also have one and it will become your new best friend. It may be frustrating at first, but if you get the hang of it you should be able to track within 10 - 20 points of your BG meter. For the first 6 months of my Dexcom use, I could consistently track within 5 points of my meter. Lately it has been more like 10 - 15 points and I am wondering if Dexcom changed anything in their quality control.

If you work out your TAG percentages and timing just right, you will be amazed at the control you have against high post prandial spikes after high carb meals.

Hi Danny- Hope all is well. I think I remember you writing about how when you got better control of your bg you had some issues with, not complications, but changes? and you were so shocked because there you were doing what you were supposed to do and yet problems were arising? I have been getting excellent numbers lately- rarely anything near 200 yet for the past couple days I have noticed my eyes are feeling blurry. I am going in next week to get checked but remembered reading a blog post of yours or a post about something like this? Thanks
