Is it real cool in Sask ??...we are at minus 8 C ...actually not too much snow ...well you wear a fur coat( as in your photo ) , so nothing should bother you ...do you hibernate ??

- Howdy Dude! My Manitoba cousins were in London ON this week for a funeral.... of course, they didn't tell me they were here so I missed them all, but it woulda been nice to see the Western Branch. That cousin I have in Moose Jaw is a chef at some military base where the Snow Birds train. .. or at least he was the last time I heard from him about a decade ago! He might be retired by now! Thanks for the belated wishes. It was not a good day. I have a hard time dealing with family who accept birthday cards from me all year and never remember my day... especially a 'millstone' like 60. I may not make too many more of those decade markers - certainly not with my 72 year old hubby! Anyway, nuff griping, I hope you had a grate weakend too... please help me glue these damned leaves back up in the trees!! little branch deserters stay gone forever!

- Oh, I'm able to sit up and take a little nourishment (said very weakly, tongue in cheek). Except today I'm a whole year - nay DECADE older!! Yikes!! I'm glad you got away for a bit - and the weather has been great around here too - except for today of course.... not allowed to be nice weather when I have plans! Dang Murphy and his laws! Dave says "if there weren't two kinds of luck, we wouldn't have any!" I think he's throwing me a little dinner party and I'm very proud of him for even trying. He is not the party type, so this is a big thing for him. I'm practising my surprised look - some of those came from Linda on my page. If I can't manage the total shocked look, I'll try to faint. :-)))) Thanks for responding. I get concerned when I don't see some folks around for a few weeks. Next time, bring a note from your doctor.
