Yeah ! way to go. Now you have to progress to the CGM - its great - you can't live without it...brings your A1c down even further. I am 55 years with type 1 and "converted to the pump" a few years ago - Minimed....its the best....

Yes, I like the OmniPod, very much. It is not a perfect system and sometimes you have pod failures and have to change it before the insulin is out. I just started wearing it on my leg and I have bumped it off a couple of times, pretty used to it now. I also have some abrasions from the insertion site - happens mostly on my lower back.

That said, my control is much better and being free from daily injections is wonderful. I tried the Minimed in 1997 and didn't like it at all, had a difficult time with the tubing. This system has worked for me.

I would suggest for anyone interested in switching pumps or going on a pump to try OmniPod. I just can't say enough about being needle and tube free.

Hope this works out for you.

Hey, Dave! I am a long-time pump user but have only been on the Cozmo since July. I think you would really like the Animas Insets. Like the Cleo 90, they're also auto-insertion at a 90 degree angle (which you need with an athletic build). I prefer them to the Cleos because their adhesive is more effective on my skin and I don't have problems with the release mechanism like I do with the Cleos. You might also like the Minimed Quicksets with the luer lock connections. I used Quicksets on my last pump for over 4 years with no trouble and no complaints. Both of these others have to be ordered from someone other than Smiths Medical, but I think you'd be happy trying either.

But i just took a deep breath and changed my site to new area and BGs were good today. But other than that i really like it, it makes things so much easier i love that the pump does all the math for me its great. So hows things moving along with you getting on the pump. Take Care Darryl
