The pump is great, but it is difficult getting supplies from liberty medical as medtronic does not work with my insurance company and medtronic is unable to supply liberty adequately due to a recent quick set recall. The sensors are another matter...

You are all very fortunate to be able to get your supplies directly from medtronic. Unfortunatelly, they make me order from Lilberty Medical and they are not keeping up the supply to Lilberty.

email the sale person and they should be able to get you some if you dont know who it is go to minimed.com to the events and just email one of them and they will do what they can for you i did it before and then i meet the man and got what i neede...

yes you're exactly right Carolyn. I get mine due to the nature of my job and having to go on a business trip with 2 day notice. I do agree that MM makes it very easy to make sure you do have the needed supplies on time.

Yeah, MM is only supplying one box at a time, but they give you one box every 3 weeks and are extremely good about making it very easy. For me, it took one phone call and I've had 3 on-time (or early) deliveries. Honestly, it really shouldn't matt...

I also get mine directly from MM - I purchased my pump directly from them as well.

I got an email stating that due to limited supply I would only get 1 box a month for the next 3 months instead of my full order at one time. So far they have been good about it. I get my supplies directly from MM.

medtronic had a big recall on lot 8 quicksets back in july

Thank you. Unfortunately, my insurance requires that I be supplied through Liberty Medical and they get the infusion sets from Medtronic. They are unable to get a sufficient supply.

I spoke to medtronic today and they lied to me and said they only ship ten sets at a time themselves. Apparently, that is not so and they are just shorting their outside suppliers. However, the medtronic order site does say that they have liimited...
