"Hey Ziggy...nice "seeing" you again. Carb counting is what I do. I'm a type 2 and not on insulin. I need to know what is in the food I eat...I read labels, I'm aware. I balance what I eat against the insulin I have "om…"

Water Aerobics and Blood Glucose Readings

Posted on September 8, 2009 at 9:35pm 0 Comments

For the past 3 weeks, I have been doing water aerobics on my own- I wear either a belt or noodle to keep me buoyant in the deep water and jog or ski for about 45 minutes. I take my blood sugars spradically and have found them to be extremely better, i.e. 110 vs 121 to 129 without the exercise in the water. It seems to work much better then walking. I would like you TuDiabetes members to try it and let me know your results. Also, it it very relaxing. Any questions - let me know.

Dr. That a glass of wine is great for the HDL and he is an endocronologist.
