"Well, "really good" -- that's pretty tough. Most of the Jello Sugar-free pudding or Mousse snacks are alright, and can certainly be fit into any nutrition plan at 8-12 carbs per item. That's what I'm hooked on for now..."

"I was on metformin + sulfonylurea at first, and my numbers started decent, but gradually increased. Then we tried Janumet + sulfonylurea with some short-term success, but again a steady ascent in daily BGL trends and A1C. That is when we went to…"

I was reading your post David, about the unfortunate vanilla pudding episode....I feel that the more the "recipe" has been modified (and instant pudding is a modification from home made...add to that the fact that its now sugar-free)...the more synthetics are added to it.
Short of doing it yourself from scratch, try natural health food store...aside from acquiring a package of "instant"...they often make customized dishes, all prepared, ready to go!

hmmmm......I see. Two weeks ago I made a package of sugar-free, instant vanilla pudding. A small taste (half teaspoon) didn't seem too bad. But by next morning, the pudding seemed to have broken down.....and one of the elements looked like something that should be in the radiator of my car. I threw it out...I didn't even want the dogs to try it. Anything else that works for you...? I apologize for being negative, and I appreciate your taking the time to let me know. Anthony

Hi David, Welcome. I am new also, and I am glad to find someone that has type II like I do. It seems more people have type I. Anyway, I think I can find you some desert recipes, if I can figure out how to send them to you. Can I ask you what kind of exercise you do,and what your sugar ususally runs from waking until night. hi, David, welcome here! I'm originally from the DC area. I'm not a big dessert eater, but I like the sugarfree Jello puddings, the sugarfree popsickles and fudgesickles, and I've heard the ice cream line called "skinny cow" is pretty good. You have to be careful, because some of the suarfree stuff has just as many carbs as the regular. Tell us if you find a great dessert!
