- my mom, sister and I are all d.....my 4 yr old is in a "pre" diabetes state....well sort of . She had symptoms and we had to practically bend over backwards to get her in with an endo....they tested her for 3 genes and she had none of them. They figure she will be fine, although I know there are much more she could be tested for. I am very active in the ADA.....research....and an online support group for diabetic women.
