Hi Deb- I recently saw a program on Animal Planet on ragdoll kittens. They are so cute and friendly. My cats are just plain DSH cats. We adopted them from a local no-kill cat shelter. They are a lot of fun to have around. I guess all cats are fun. When my kids were little ( they are grown and gone now,) we had all kinds of pets. Dogs, rabbits, hamsters fish and now just have the cats. They fit in more with our lifestyle as we are both retired. This is a wonderful site for all info about D. The people are great and I have made some wonderful friends here. I have been a member for over 2 years. Hope to hear from you soon. Cat =^..^=

Thank you all for your warm welcomes! I am so very happy to have received them. i came across this site while doing a search online. I didn't know it existed, but when i saw it I thought it would be a great place to be to talk about diabetes and possibly get some support from fellow diabetics who have been where i am. My family is very supportive, but none of them have diabetes and really don't know the feeling. I really wasn't expecting the welcomes from everyone. What a nice surprise! Thank you again.
