Well I was kinda mad b/c they cancelled my appt. but never called me!! So yeah she called me yesterday (it's 3 AM early Friday morning) asking me to send her my b-sugar readings on the Carelink but I haven't found where I can get the FREE one, so I plan on having the hubby fax them to her when he gets to work today b/c she is supposed to let me know if I can stop all the EARLY morning b-sugar checks. Otherwise everything is good, had a busy day yesterday and it's just the start of another one. But hope all is well w/ you and your family. Take care, Heather-Ann

Hi Debi,
I'm new to this forum so still trying to figure it out. I received an email that said you'd comment on my "trying to sell Symlin pens" but I can't find it!
My email is spectrum@sonic.net
Thanks! Valerie

Yes thank god my ins. covered the pump-- I had to pay 2$ on my part so I am not even going to complain. My last A1C was 7.3 but I go tomorrow to see Danita to find out my most recent 1 which I am aiming for a 6.5 or 7 b/c when I was 1st diagnosed I was up in the teens so yeah I have a chart of A1C levels if you want me to send it to ya? I actually got it from Danita's office. But w/ mine being a 7.3 my average blood-sugar is 154-160 so not bad but not as good as I'd like it to be. H-A

Yeah I asked Peggy if she knew you and she did- I explained how we met on here.. I played around w/ it (Bolus Wizard) in the office today and it seems like it will be really handy so I don't over-take or under-take my bolus. But I have state ins. and Peggy said Blue Cross Blue Shield was just approved for covering the CGM so it won't be but maybe 6 months top for state to do it as well, so not too much longer. But sitting w/ a sugar of 114 so pretty good day so far for me. Have a great day. Heather-Ann

Yeah they said they would contact me when my ins. is approving it- if you don't mind me asking what ins. do you have? I would LOVE to get it but I am nowhere close to being made of $ like that to fork out every month. But yeah getting ready to go see Peggy and Marsha over at the care-center to get hooked up to the bolus-wizard so have a great day and keep in touch. Heather-Ann

I'm not sure about the cgm b/c my ins doesn't cover it and I got qouted that it's 999$ and then 350$ for monthly costs- so not in my budget.. I would LOVE to though I've heard so many great things about it. I see Marsha and Peggy at the Care Center. I go see them tomorrow. But we should keep in touch and maybe educate each other on topics we aren't too sure about. My e-mail is sassyboo7881@yahoo.com and we can also keep in touch on here. Take care, Heather-Ann

Do you see Harrison/Weidem/or Ferria? My reg. dr I see is Danita Harrison but my actual dr is Ferria but I've had Weidem in the past. That is cool that I'm sure you go to the same place for your visits. I will be there tomoorw and Tuesday for getting hooked up w/ the Bolus-Wizard and then to see Danita for my pump-2 week check-up. But keep in touch and thanks for the add. Heather-Ann

Hi Debi.
Please stop over and join the Great Lakes Group, for those of us living in the bordering states - just a way to link people geographically. I live in Minneapolis, where we hope that winter has finally ended.
Welcome to Tu Diabetes. Nice to have you with us.
