ABOUT MOI...
On my father's side of the family 80% have been diagnosed with Diabetes. Thank God for my mother, in my immediate family, brothers, sister and children we have been spared!
We lost my father 20 years ago to Diabetes! He was misdiagnosed as having a stroke when it actually was a Diabetic Seizure. Fortunately my brother, a doctor, discovered the misdiagnoses and airlifted my father to his hospital. Too late for the Paralysis that had set in but upon passing on Mothers Day he died with a smile on his face!
I am happy to be a member of Tu Diabetes.

Do come see us again soon, Deborah. I would love to read your story---Germany to Las Vegas---it must be a wonderful story! My nephew is German, now living in Minnesota---he and my niece met when she was doing Junior year abroad in Freiburg. She now is working on her PhD dissertation in German.....

The bear was in Alaska, took a cruise there a few months ago. Sounds like an interesting occupation. How did you get invovled in it? Human Resouces background? Just curious.
