Hi I am the mother of a type 1 diabetic. She was diagnosed at 23 and is now 43. I also lost a sister to this disease at the age of 19. My daughter does well for a while and then just gives up. She eats whatever she wants and forgets to check her blood sugars. It is tearing me apart to see her not take care of herself. My question is what can I do as her mother ? She also resents it when I say anything. What should I do? I am desperate for advice.See More
