Good luck Devon. I've been using it for 2 years, its a bit quirky and takes some getting used to but I love it. I blogged about the main issues people have with CGMS at http://www.shootuporputup.co.uk/2009/04/to-cgms-or-not-to-cgms/ so you might f...

Nope! You're not being blocked! I guess I still have a lot to learn about this site and the internet. You know, I still can't add the little smiley faces and glitter to messages. Arrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhh!!

Hey Devon:

Hope I didn't bruise you too much with that swift kick!! :-)

Btw, I had a spot of curiousity with my computer. I think it said to "block Devon." I didn't press that key, honest!!! Try to send me a message to see if it really did or if something else is going on here.

Hi Devon! Hehe unfortunately that awesome doctor was from my college days :( And she doesn't practice outside of the school (I tried convincing her to practice from home and then I can go see her but no...) That's ok though, I figure it's quite hard to find such an enthusiastic doctor :)

Thank You! It's nice to be appreciated. And welcome to the site.

I am not into poetry, but I'll try to check it out sometime. :-)

Hi Devon, the Glucosurfer can now import Medtronic pump files. If you like to test this you can create an account and in the diary section you will find the link upload where you can upload the Medtronic files in CSV format. The pump software can even create small excerpts of your pump data in CSV format if you dislike the idea of uploading huge amounts of your data. This will help us to find possible problems before we invite many users to use this new feature.

Hi Devon, thanks for adding me! As I can see you are using a medtronic pump. We are currently working on a procedure to import the data files of medtronic pumps. So far it looks very promising and I hope I will have some time in the next weeks to make that happen.

Hey, Devon. You might try browsing or joining one of the athletic groups on the site, such as Athletic Diabetics or Diabetics who run marathons

Continuous Glucose Monitoring

Tomorrow morning I am embarking on the start of my journey with continuous glucose monitoring using the paradigm real-time system. It appears to be a bit complex and a good amount to learn, but I hope that this is the system that will enable me to get that HBA1C under 7! We shall see....

High BG Frustration

Got my latest HBA1C this week and it was .2 points higher. One of these days it will be under 7, but it has been a horrible struggle. I don't know if other people struggle this much. It seems like most people on this site have great control judging by their HBA1Cs.
