Yay Humalog! After three terrible months of Apidra

I spent many years on Humalog and never had an A1C higher than 7; usually it was 6.2 or 6.3, and sometimes dropped down into the magic 5 realm. But the downside - which really became clear when I started using a Dexcom six months ago - was many many nighttime lows. So I did some research and discovered that Apidra has a shorter "tail" - i.e. stops acting earlier after a shot - so I asked my endo to put me on it. Well! Just got my A1C results: 7.5!
