Life after gastroparesis

Hi everyone,My question is for anyone that had been lucky enough to reverse the symptoms of gastroparesis.Up until a few months ago I had had gastroparesis for years. I didn't realise how bad it was (I just thought I had a real bad appetite) until 2 years ago I was sick and I brought up a meal from over 12 hours ago. My blood sugars have never been stable anyway but when I told all the symptoms to my Endo, he dx this condition. To cut a long story short I was put on the pump last July due the…See More

Thank you every one for being so nice. Tudiabetes is always coming up on Twitter so I thought I would have a look. Apart from the fantastic support from from the online community, its nice to find out how you guys in the States deal with things. We are really behind in the UK but we are getting there - slowly! I've only been on the pump a few months and its my first one but I don't have any complaints. I love that I can check my bg with the glucometer and it will tell me what insulin it thinks I can have according to what food I'm having and how I've programmed my sensitivity for that time scale. I've had a few bent cannulas in the top of my tuche but otherwise no complaints.
